We The Kings have made the jump from Myspace to radio and MTV play, and have had their songs featured on shows like The Hills and One Tree Hill. I caught up with lead singer Travis when the band was in Toronto on the Vans Warped Tour.

When their respective bands finally fell apart (within two months of each other, no less), Andy "Falco" Falkous, Jack Egglestone (both Mclusky) and Kelson Mathias (Jarcrew) decided to jump right back on the horse intead of sitting around nursing fresh (emotional) wounds.
Dirty On Purpose create sounds that are everything I want in music. Big, powerful, disablingly loud, heartbreaking, uplifting. Everything about this band is somehow consistent and wonderful.
From guitar to piano, Shara has mastered around 15 different instruments. Growing up in a musical family as the "granddaughter of an Epiphone-playing traveling evangelist, fathered by a National Accordion Champion, and mothered by a classical organist", Shara’s future has been mapped out from the beginning.
They are label mates with New Young Pony Club, The Presets, and Wolfmother. They've toured with the likes of Franz Ferdinand, Junior Senior, Bloc Party, Mylo and Daft Punk. They're buddies with the Midnight Juggernauts. They whipped up some of these folks on a FabricLive album. Now after four years of all that stuff, they're setting synths and guts ablaze with long-awaited sophomore record.
